Crash to Desktop ehen commiting a TE-mission
-
It started last week, I made a TE-training mission but as soon as I hit the <commit>button I crashed to desktop.
I don’t know what changed since I did the setup of 4.33 but 2-weeks ago it worked fine.
Instant action and Dogfight still works, but I can’t commit to any TE-missions (default or self made).
Tried to uninstall, then reinstall -> same crash.System:
Win7 Ultimate x64
Nvidia GeForce 660 Ti, driver versions=359,06 / 347,88First few lines from crashlog:

Hi fink, I’m posting mostly because I have been experiencing the same problem with both the 64 and the 32 bit exe. No major changes to drivers etc, it just decided to stop working. In my case, however, it doesn’t even produce a crashlog.
My system, for comparison:
Win10
Geforce gtx860m (yes, I know, it’s a laptop, but a fairly good one and never gave me problems this far, in 8+ months)
Drivers: tried with windows update default drivers (can’t recall version, but something like 353) and currently using 359.06 as well.
“SFC /scannow” reports all clear.Curiously enough, being on a laptop I can choose to run the game on the integrated intel card, where it starts up just fine (although with poor fps obviously). If I choose the dedicated card, it will crash as soon as it’s supposed to switch to the five segment loading screen.

It might be unrelated, but it wouldn’t be the first time i have problems with it; do you happen to have facetracknoir on your machine? -
no facetracknoir, but TrackIR.

update: i fixed the problem by rolling win10 back to an older build through the built in recovery options… since you have seven I guess it’s not directly helpful but my money is on some crossversion update to windows that broke something.

For what it’s worth… Upon initially sitting down at my PC this morning… Windows 10 started an update, that took over 2 hours!
However… I’ve had no BMS issues before or after.

PROBLEM FIXED!
There was a problem in the user directory, I replaced it with the original one (from setup)
and it worked again.
