F-15E cockpit glitch?
-
So I’ve been dinking around. AMAZIONG. Loving it, cherishing the old memories, and so on.
Issue: I get this when I fly the Strike Eagle…
Is this a known bug, or am I special?
Thanks in advance.

Hi guys,
do you have a special soft for rectified this problem? or special process to enable the rest of piece

F4browse or even worse 3ds max but for both the effort is way much for the benefit.
If the polygon is there in the model maybe it could be a bit easier.
For 3ds u must have the origin 3d model. -
IMO this is made as it is, for cockpit models, the parts that the pilot can’t see, because he is stick to the seat, and the parts underneath the ac is deleted in the 3d model of cockpit. This is made to keep fps low.

well according to new facts the problem with fps are the drawcalls. so if a poly not drawcalls intensive could surround the pits to avoid this look at the void.
just saying… -

Has this bug been solved yet? It is so frustrating to see videos on YouTube where it looks perfectly normal, then you load up and it looks so strange.
How it should look

Bump any ideas?

It’s not solved. If you move right or left you will see world ground again behind ejection seat. Normally a 3D cockpit is a combination of several lods. One of them is the wing model and I’m sure 95% that this issue have to do with that LOD.
Maybe some 3D modeler knows how to fix it with 3Ds Max and export new lod to BMS.
Good luck. -
Sure would be nice if it had a fix. It is the only reason I don’t fly it.

I Fly it, I love the F-15E…Do i wish there was no bug…ofcourse! But i just keep reminding myself not to lean around the seat. It’s not a bug that’s going to keep me from enjoying the aircraft.

it would look the same if you weren’t moving your head with the x-axis
you can see the chair just fine, if you look behind it there thats
