Game Crashes unexpectedly
-
Hello.
this happens to me both in 4.33 and 4.33.1, 64 bit.
I had the same problem many people had that I couldn’t even get the game to start 3d world at all after hitting take off/commit.
I fixed it with the config editor to external displays and the cockcpit display extraction.
it runs, and i can play the game for a few times, until i hit commit again, and then the game freezes while loading the 3D world.
even ALT+CNTL+DEL doesn’t work and i have to hard reset my laptop.
After this happens, I can’t even access the games menu (I mean the 2nd menu, after i hit Launch from the first menu). Windows says Falcon BMS has stopped working, and the only fix iv’e came up with so far is to re-install the game. Every time it happens……
then it works fine, until it crashes for what-ever reason again. it doesn’t crash only in campaign mode.
my computer specs:
windows 10, intel I7, 8 GB Ram, Nvidia 740M.would it be helpful if i’ll upload any crash logs?
BTW, BMS 4.32 runs perfect!

Hey Arty.
before posting this thread i saw the post you sent.
i’m not sure we have the same problem.
My entire computer freezes when i hit commit, not just BMS. this happens randomly.
Alt cntl del has not effect.
if you’re sure we have the same problem i don’t mind trying your solution, but i haven’t really understood what i need to do.
thanks -
temps? Performance settings?
and try the -window maybe in your system has this behavior… -

but i really don’t understand what your’e asking… -
Maybe you have temperature problems, high temperature results in freeze or throttling which slows the cpu down to zero until it cools down.
In control panel check power settings and select high performance. This activates high cpu frequency and dedicated vga usage.
Also check how much free ram u have before you start falcon.sent from my Xperia Z3 compact via TapaTalk

Changing to high performance did the trick. started the game for about 12 times and not a single crash so far…
however, i have very low FPS.
I did the -window thing you said, didn’t work.
iv’e set the g_nAnisotropicValue to 2, didn’t work.
right now i’ll just use bms 4.33 with out U1, it works better for some reason.
thanks for your help!** edit
4.33 still crashes. going to try and get 4.33.1 to work properly :dhorse:
