Has anyone managed to get the TGP to work?
Talkin’ about TGP on how to enable it?
i. Look for ACdata.dat file & search for the TGP portion of the file
*** Falcon 4 BMS U1\Data\Sim\ACdata\F22.dat
ii. Open it on notepad.exe or notepad++.exe

Notice that this setup turned Has_TGP 1 = ON & HAS_OnboardTGP = 1
& TGP_Type 1; means it uses Internal TGP since F-22 doesn’t have physical Targeting Pod here so this is the safest & realistic approach or setup for this AC.Mind you to that you wouldn’t gonna join multiplayer since you edited a vanilla[default] file.
& that’s how the server goes.I just encountered a problem. I can’t get the HOTAS be seen. The Texture isn’t appearin’.
I tried to reinstall ‘till everythin’ became a mess & the canopywing’s been affected & gone back to that bay dillema without the Weapon bay doors. I only have one successful attempt of this & got the same bug again.Anyway here’s my own screenies for F-22A Raptor & thanks to Metalhead for the epic mod.

The Thruster, though. I got most of your textures workin’ but that HOTAS.
I got multiple instances of re-intallation & still no joy. -

about your hotas, have you set all the nDOF and switches to the correct number and have you installed it correctly?

Take note of this…
TGP_Type 1& about the nDof & Switches… I just followed “255” on his video.
But the catch had been not to follow his Parent Numbers & Lod & I took note of mine but most likely, you’ll get his settings if you haven’t tried to put Lod models yet. -
nvm i got it to work, thanks anyway. But the right door for the aim9 is open when i spawn? is it supposed to be that way? how do i close it?
I have the same exact problem how did you get it to work ? Model is invisible when in cockpit mode and also crashes in loadout screen. What changes did you apply to solve these problems?

I have fixed the “invisible model in cockpit” problem but it still crashes when I try to enter loadout screen? Any help would be appreciated.

What you can do is: Fly a dogfight (just hop in for a sec and then you can go out)
Then try again with the loadout screen

I have the same problem on loadout screen and tactical reference…. I have no idea what is the problem, and i suspect it is dof or switch related… something changed and i am not finding it out…
About TGP and hts, and hmcs… the f22 is an air dominance fighter, yes it is… but in falcon, without it it is nothing … I have tgp hts and hcms in my pc, when i play singleplayer, i use my modified folderof objects to it, when multiplayer, i do not use it, instead, i use all default. -

Is there any way to add visible external pylons to the F-22? I’ve been searching the forums and haven’t been able to get a complete picture on how to add visible external pylons. Do you assign their position in the lod editor?

And no, you assign a pylon in the editor that comes with bms

The best answer IMO is yes, it is possible, but for that, i will need to create a new parent record in the database…. nothing difficult so far, but, how to link it to the model i would add as well (in the case the external tanks, missiles etc) i have not figured out yet. I have looked for the answer fo that too, and tried a lot of things here myself, but i could not get a satisfactory result then i gave up for now.
I would like to say to everyone, i have other important stuff to be worried about right now, as my life outside the 3dworld and any development on this AC, and i do not have time for it, Sorry gentlemen… I did not even “fly” lately -
Where is the fuel gauge in the F-22 Pit? I can’t find it, anybody please help?

there is not in this models of F22 cockpit. try to hit the list then number 2 in the ICP, you should see the fuel numbers.

Regards MetalheadOK noted, thanks a lot for your great work! so the pit may get some update later? the F22 is my favorite tool to take down the SA-10 in BMS, very cool! F-16, F-18 can’t do this job very well, even with a payload of AGM-84H-ER or AGM-158!

Never tried F22 against SAM’s…The SA-10 can’t detect the F22 very well in BMS; it’s so amazing BMS can simulate that fact. You can bomb the SA-10 radar with JDAM bombs and the SAMs get paralyzed. F-18, F-16 will be shot down shortly after getting in range to aim the AGM-84H-ER at the radar. AGM-158 can be fired beyond the SA-10 range but unable to destroy the radar, because the radar of the SA-10 in BMS change its position!

Hey all,
I had long wanted to use the F-22 in BMS, but had never tried modding in anything to BMS, but when I found this thread, i knew i should try.
So I just tried installing the F-22 cockpit and external model so kindly provided too us by metalhead, but now whenever i try to load the F-22 specifically (in the tactical database, dogfight, or campaign) is crashes my game.
I followed the instructions in the now dated LOD Editor install videos by metalhead, to the letter.
Is this not compatible with BMS 4.33U2? (I am running 4.33U2 not U3) or did I do something wrong during the (long and complicated) install?
