Where to get files to install
-
Hi,
I use to fly Falcon all the time and had Falcon AF installed. I have the original Falcon disk but can’t seem to find the files on the forum that I need to install. lI know it use to be complicated to get everything installed and running properly. I’m looking for all the downloads I need and then I’ll try to do the step by step if I can find those instructions as well. I have my grandson here and he is really interested in learning to fly Falcon. Any assistance you can give would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Richard

Luckily i just installed yesterday.
Go here: https://www.benchmarksims.org/forum/forumdisplay.php?29-Releases-amp-Updates
In the top 5 sticky threads is what you need.
Instructions:
Download The full setup plus U1,U2,U3 + U4
Extract the full setup to a new falcon bms setup folder on your hard drive.
Extract all of the U1 etc packages to the same folder.
Once they are all within the folder execute the full setup
It should verify files and will have 4.34 and all 4 increments ticked if you have done it right.
Click next and it will install all updates.Enjoy

Your folder should look like this.
Once it does, hit setup and bob’s your uncle.

BMS is distributed through torrent network. Once you downloaded the torrent file you need a torrent clients to get the data flies. Alternative go to the forum post where you get the torrent from, in the first post at the end thre are Direct Download links to the setup files as well

This is how the Setup directory will look after extracting all the files -

I’ve been a super long time fan of this sim… my car tag even was it.
Looking forward to relearning the buttons and breaking out that dusty joystick
