Which hardpoint is the left and right chin in editor for the israeli -16I

because blk 40’s shooting only aim9s and Egypt running patriots while Jordan and Syria do nothing is realistic…:wfish:
SEEMS A BIT DOGMATIC
-
I’m even willing to roll back the vitriol a bit , maybe I overstepped a couple times but I’m just trying to learn this man it’s not like I’m out to deface the monument of your work.
No harm meant

@Cloud:
Honestly Shad, if you’re gonna say something about his post, then you should be doing it for all the others on the forums changing the FM’s for aircrafts, SAMS, etc.(under the premise that they “THINK”, their work is more accurate because they have a degree in physics or something of the sort, but have never been in the military, worked for the military or any other defense contractor or even actually seen the real thing in life, in any way, shape or form.)
And the ones adding multiple squadrons and additional units all of the place in the theaters.
While I agree with you, there’s nothing anyone can do about it.
So there’s really no point in calling one individual out. The willy nilly modding has gotten beyond the ridiculous!!
Now please load me up with MER’s and 18 CBU’s, extend the range and thrust of my AMRAAM’s to say, 150 miles and pack 300 chaff and flares on my bird so I can get out of here!!
Cheers,
C9
You said it all, except the first bit was a “bit of a rant”, don’t know if you were pointing the finger at me in regards the SU 27/30 ???
I’m not trying to single out fairlycertann but He is a good case in fact, while He is still learning how to deploy Aim7s and at the same time want to mod or change a heap of other stuff I thought it was a good time to raise the point.
But thanks for your helpful post, now load me up with 12 Mavs. And half a case of port. :munch:

Rant? I don’t rant, there is no ranting in Falcon….:p
And no, I was certainly not speaking of you or the SU27/30 with the “Thrust Vectoring FM”!!! LOL, that’s a joke, eh!

first of all, grand poobah, I know how to shoot a missile, even when the avionics don’t have what should be there, secondly, 30 not tracking across two different variants is not user error, and again, it’s besides the point, But it’s good to know I have a fan.
I’m right here by the way.
-
Shadow I might be new here but I was not born last night and I can recognize an ego and an argument from authority . I will point out to you sir that uri-ba the man who started the israrl theater thread for the release is freely giving this information away in another thread I just simply don’t understand the terminology you’re literally just starting problem because you don’t like me , or you have a problem with me learning at a rate you find advanced? I’m unsure.

trying to add HTS and TGP to israeli Vipers, have only been able to add them to the hardpoint 5, cannot find left and right chin entry under hard-points for the israeli, or any f-16s
please haaaaalp!
_EDIT: id like to know for the sufa, the netz, and the barak please and thank you kindly much obliged!
for the record,
all Twin-seat IAF Vipers (D & I) have both TGP and a built-in HTS. you don’t need to add anything.
regardless, chin hardpoints in BMS are special case and are handled via the FM file and not via the DB. so it is pointless to look. if you really insist, you can enable it via the FM, however, it will break MP compatibility, and will not show visually as it is part of the model (which was removed on the appropriate jets). -
thank you for your informational on topic, polemic-less response. YOUR work is amazing!

it’s very salty in here, but what is a “FM” that you need to edit to add HTS pod to a plane?

FM’s are the Flight models of the aircraft(s), contained in the SIM>ACDATA folder.
You edit whichever one goes to the aircraft you want to add the HTS to. They are .dat files.
Like the F16I-52+ would be named similar, I think it’s f16ibk52+cftil in the ACDATA folder.

could I ask further, for EX:
the hornet looked like this
HTS
HAS HTS 0
ONBOARD HTS 0i made the onboard read “1” now it should just load through the MFD, correct?
-
Oh, sorry, make it 1
And yes.

Oh, Sorry…once more:
so it should read?
HTS
HAS HTS 0
ONBOARD HTS 1
i checked the israeli f16c52+ as refrence, which has both, and this is how the onboard HAD was looking in that AC.dat file, so I followed suit.

Yes, you’re good!

Don’t forget the thrust vectoring
cannot fit in now that I’ve added flux capacitor to 3d pit, going back in time to move landmarks and break off curmudgeons.
