While re-viewing the last video above and how i struggled to survive with “perpendicular lift-vector placements”… i look at the bandit and its behaviour… and think
“maaan, what a nice flight-model we have in BMS”
29:00 min last fight … and 30.15min … the moment i look into the “face of beautiful FM death” - LOL

The High-Aspect problematic.
In some nose-to-nose situations - given enough distance between both is available - high aspect shots can be avoided by displacements and even geometric choices (fligh path seperation, lead turns etc), in order to determin the follow-up after the pass or/and to deny a firing-solution completly.
In some other situations like the more “spacially collapsed” (but still turning-room presenting itself) vertical or horizontal nose-to-tail engagements one may have an angular advantage and the intent is to attack, BUT the defender - even having lesser speed and angles at this moment - STILL has enough energy and ROOM to defend with a counter high-aspect attack.
If both pull into eachother , KNOWING their speeds are (were) almost equal and knowing both jets can pull the same way as the are the same jets… then both dont do BFM, but have their mind is the HUD. The result is no suprise or a “gamble” (who gets hit or who not).So the key is to recognize this and NOT to attack and attack later, where such a counter-attack defense is not possible for the bandit.
In such cases, IF the INTENT is shown early (pulling around and coming for the shot), and the banidt recognizes this… it is a valid option for him to try to jink, extend or to defend with a counter H2H attack.
In a sense… it is the attackers fault …if he worked for that angular advantage… but fails to see, that the bandit still has a H2H capability.Sometimes its better to wait… and attack later…
Far distance “hit probability”
Simple… as long bandit still has the nose-authority (even with minimal speeds) and the defender remains in the same flight-tragectory or -path and target is within weapons envelope… hits always can occur. Basically the extension (straight, vertical, climbing while turning etc etc) was simply wrong.
HOW did it come to this situation ?
HOW could i have prevented it much earlier?
Mistakes happen BEFORE and lead to kills. Are the questions to be asked.
Personal preferences (flight style) and abilities (good aiming) are irrelevant.Cheers guys. Enjoy the videos. I think, that was a good example of the addressed topic.

Nice “taking away” of turning-room on the EF - till AI runs out of “intelligence”.
