What's with these eroneous wapoint.

Okay…Falcon BMS 4.33 U3…intel i7-6700 @3.4 Ghz. NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 Windows 10…
When on the mission Schedule screen, the route and waypoints show up as they should. However, when the mission starts, it puts a waypoint way out in the middle of nowhere. Not even close to where I need to go. On the last mission it put a waypoint 246 miles out of the way in the opposite direction. It doesn’t do this on the first 10 or so missions of a new campaign but when it starts doing it, it is on every mission. It does the wayward waypoint in the WDP also. And it’s just one waypoint. The wayward waypoint shows whether or not the WDP is active.

It’s probably an alternate landing field

What steer point number is it? Random? STP 11 is the alternate airfield. I know this dose not solve the problem but you can just drag the way point to where ever you want?.

Possibly a remnant Target Steerpoint in your DTC?
-
No……The last mission was an escort mission. Steerpoint 5 was the previous one before the target up by China that was being attacked. Then stpt 6 was placed at the south end of South Korea and 7 was only 8 miles from 5.

The mission planner map shows the route in the correct way (without the wayward steer point) but when the mission starts, the route on the HSD is the first indication that it’s wacko. On the map in the WDP, when I cursor over the erroneous steer point, it shows it as a precision steer point.

It was. I got to thinking about what you said. It was always steer point 6. I checked in the DTC and wala. There it was. I don’t know how it got there but it is no longer. Thanks a bunch.
