Setup.cfg file missing
-
Ok…once again I’m going to try returning to BMS after a long hiatus.
I have BMS configured through 4.35.0. In trying to update to 4.35.1 and then 4.35.2, I’ve received the message “setup.cfg” is missing.
I have no idea what happened because at one point, the installation worked and then when I cleaned up my desktop to remove old BMS shortcuts, the new 4.35.1 shortcut disappeared and I have been unable to reinstall 4.35.1 since.
Thanks for any help you can give.

woah…it sounds like you cleaned up too much(?) Was the “Falcon BMS 4.35 Setup” directory on the Desktop? You always need to keep it around, since that is where you ‘install’ the updates (not the sim/installation directory where the “Launcher.exe” is).
Maybe it’s better (or necessary) to start from scratch.
Make a backup of “\Falcon BMS 4.35\User\Config\Falcon BMS.cfg” to compare with the new version.

Got everything squared away and configured properly. Updated through U2. Now, I just need to get flying!
