Ergodex DR1 ???
-
Anyone currently playing Falcon (c. 2018 ) use Ergodex DR1?
(For those who haven’t heard of it, it’s (I think) an aluminum sheet with re-positionable/re-stickable keys - like your keyboard - that you can configure to fit your hand or to group keys into functional or logical places; you can map to game software and/or macros)
Anyone know of Ergodex DR1 and know why no one is using it? Cost? Sux? Not supported anymore? Not Win 10 compatible?
Anyone know where to get it? Cursory google searches come up empty or to dead web pages.

Looks like a dead end.
I finally stumbled on some semblance of an “ergodex” in the ether. Some company in Kanada with a similar sounding name but not exactly “ergodex”. I emailed them and they replied that the product is no longer in production and not in stock and that “they” (referring to other than themselves) don’t make the DR1 anymore.
That is all. -
For what it’s worth, the CH Products Multi-Function Panel is literally a rebadged version of the Ergodex DX1 that utilizes CH’s Control Manager software for programming (and thus integrates seamlessly with CH’s other flight sim products).
That version might be considerably easier to find, but most of those that I saw in use were generally used to loosely emulate the MFD button frames. I suppose they could also work for the up-front control panel, given the freeform nature of the DX1/MFP’s key placements.

I did not know the CH MFP was a rebadged product. It’s high on my wish list, but they’re basically unobtanium now.
