Stuttering Graphics Problem with 4.34
-
Hey guys, I really hate bothering folks with questions (would rather be flying)…BUT…I’m getting really frustrated since the release of 4.34. I haven’t had a great deal of time to get things set up but each time I dive into it, something else breaks!
I’m having lots of stuttering that wasn’t there in 4.33 and I’ve tried reducing the graphics in game and tweaking Nvidia settings via the Nvidia control panel. So far, no joy.
My system is running Windows 10 on an Intel Core i5-7600K CPU with 16GB of RAM. I run BMS from an internal SSD (1.8 TB mostly free). BMS 433 ran without any trouble at all and certainly none of this stuttering.
It’s taken the fun out of flying. I enjoy tinkering and solving problems but this one is wearing me out.Any help/suggestions would be appreciated!
Thanks again!

I had the same problem and solved by activating vsync in setup>graphics

Tried that, no joy.

Hi, try disabling full screen optimization in bms.exe properties.
-
In some flights I noticed some stuttering too. I’m still trying to understand when it happens and how to minimize it.
-
Try with low res for clouds enabled and no vsync no triple buffering.

It’s my latest headache with this update. I was really looking forward to it. Now, I’m about as frustrated as I’ve ever been with BMS. I’ve tried everything but the right thing, I guess.

Nupe2 your vga is? And your monitor resolution is? And how many monitors?

WHat GPU do you have and what’s your display configuration (monitors, combined resolution for display, etc.)?
Where exactly do you experience stuttering? Have you tried monitoring the framerates and see what’s normal for you and how low it dips during issues? -
Hey, just want to let everyone know that after adjusting the field of view slider on my throttle, the problem was resolved. Not sure why that is so if anyone has a clue, I’d love to know.
Thanks for your help!
