Painted Myself Into A Corner Cont.

Soooo a little background to get all up to speed.
In General Discussion I asked about where to copy and paste the DX key File.I guess I wasn’t clear. So I will try again ,I am at a point that I need to set my stick, throttle, and peddles. The TE"GroundOps"I have learned the cold start and now I need to Taxi, then Takeoff, and land. If i recall correctly, the Technical Manual states to copy and paste the DX Key file into the Bms 4.34 /USER/cfg.file,then run BMS goto UI controllers, LOAD the key file, and then check the controls in 3D.
Am I clear on this?Should I make a backup file beforehand?Just asking so i don’t screw this up.
If i do need to make a backup of the USER/cfg. file, do I save it to my desktop?Am I overthinking this?
Thanks in Advance,

C:\….\Falcon BMS\User\Config\nameOfYourKeyFile.key You will see the other .key files there already.
I would say sufficient backup for most things is to save your \User\Config\ folder from your previous installation. That will save your controls, logbook, and data cartridge. It won’t save any saved games or created missions.
