Thrustmaster hotas problems
-
I have installed 4.34 and was very excited until I fired it up and found that my thrustmaster hotas no longer works. It has given great service under 4.33 and it would be a real shame if I have to abandon it now. The default devices file is the same as regards this stick between the two installations:
T.Flight Hotas X
GUID = {B108044F-0000-0000-0000-504944564944}
AXIS_PITCH = Y
AXIS_ROLL = X
AXIS_YAW = RZ
AXIS_THROTTLE = SLIDER0Under 4.34 the throttle is not functional but the rudder is. That is a bit strange I suppose. After a considerable effort I edited a version of the key file provided by 4.34 to include the switches on the both the throttle and the stick and those are now identical between 4.34 and 4.33 in the configuration screens. And yes, the configuration screen identifies this as T.Flight Hotas X in the drop-down and I have set it accordingly.
Does anyone else use this oldie but goody Thrustmaster product and could give me a push in the right direction?

Never Mind…. amazing what can be done with the advanced section of the configuration/setup. Also remarkable how I seem to have forgotten all about how to make this work. Apologies guys…

Did you get your micro sticks to work for your cursor. I can’t get my cursor to work on my HotAs CCP or advanced settings in BMS. Worked fine in Win7 but won’t configure in Win 10.

I use “RSMapper” to do the things I used to use Target for. Only thing I miss is Curves, dead zones & saturation refinements.
