Need your help with setting up Thrustmaters MFD's

Here is a thread where I tried everything to get the screens to work, but in the end I just returned them, and hope to use the money to buy an ICP from Viper Gear. I hope this thread helps and you get them to work!

Try MFDExtractor. its a stand alone App that doesn’t need windowed mode to be used. Or any BMS Export settings used, you just tell it where BMS is and away you go.
set g_bExportRTTTextures 1 remains set active.
I’m using MFDExtractor v0.6.3.0 See here
If you do use it I can help with fine tuning to minimize FPS loses, and eliminate and stutter that might occur.
Thanks, Shadow…I will try this asap.

Shadow…could I trouble you for step by step instructions please? I downloaded the MFDExtractor program you linked to. Installed it and then ran it. When I ran it, two MFD windows popped up and I was able to move them and stretch them to fit where I want them to go on my secondary monitor to fit the cougar panels. Then I ran BMS, but it took forever to load and seemed to hang up. What other steps are necessary in order to properly configure.
Thanks!

As you were…I think I got it to work. Any way to make the position stick so that I don’t have to re-position the MFDs every time I load the program?
-
Once you have it setup it shouldnt move again…At least mine hasnt…

Mine remember where they are to go.
On the startup tab do you have "Start extracting when this program is launched. ??
And OR are you 7" screen active before you start MFDe , don’t tick “Launch auto when Windows starts”.
And/Or are you clicking “Apply” in the “options window” after you finish placement of the outputs ?
Can’t think of much else.

^that is really bizarre. I don’t get those windows with the options at all. I run the MFDextractor .exe and the MFD windows pop up on the top left of my main monitor. I then drag and shape them on my secondary monitor and load falcon through the launcher. At no time do I get any UI for the mfdextractor program and to shut it down I have to go to the task manager.
Does it matter where the extractor is installed? I don’t have it installed in my BMS directory.

Once running It’s in “Hidden Icons” on the Task Bar , right side . Then right click for options.

Thank you. Found it…however, after setting the options like yours on the screen capture you posted and clicking on “apply”, the MFD windows disappear and the only way to get them back is to “Recover” them from the options. Unfortunately, now when I launch the game, the MFDs appear to be non-functional. Furthermore, if I close down the extractor and restart it, the MFD windows do not appear and I again, have to recover them. What the heck?

Screen shot what you changed.
