Would CPU multi-core recognizing be possible or worth?
-
After the release of version 4.34, Falcon seems to be behaving really more smoothly.
I was wondering though if things could go even better by implementing the recognition of the features offered by the currently available multi-core CPUs … Even if this argument was perhaps already addressed in the past, what do you think about it anyway?
With best regards.

It is discussed to death.
Very touchy subject.
To master it and implement it might be (or sound) easy but all hell brakes loose. The trick is to optimize it afterwards.
Which means zillions of hours of testing it and adjusting it.Like which process uses how many cores or threads exclusively and if it’s not enough or others at specific conditions need more and others wait or vice versa…
U must find the equilibrium in a stack of haze.So the quick solution is to activate it in auto (generaly speaking) and OS uses cores and threads as it sees fit.
Either way some would benefit some would complain.

The Arctic will freeze over first.

True all, guys, but I had to try the same, you know…
