Anybody using Stream Deck?
-
Hello Vipers,
I was wondering if anyone here are using Stream Deck with Falcon BMS 4.34? Any insights and views would be highly appreciated. It looks very handy, but does it work with Falcon BMS?
Cheers,

On a first glance I don’t see why it shouldn’t work with BMS, but there might be way cheaper solutions that to the same or even more.
Such as
7’’ or 10’’ Touchscreen panel and Helios Software
Simdashboard App and Mobile Phone -
Yes, you are right! it is a pretty darn expensive device. What I like about it is that you have great flexibility on how to program the buttons and it takes up relatively little space on the desk.

I remember someone talking about using Stream Deck on the Falcon Lounge Discord, are you on there?

Totally works, I got the XL, and I’m slowly setting it up, So far i just have it set up to run the ICP, and the AI radio commands.

Ah, good to hear! Any luck with setting up other cockpit buttons? Master Arm, Laser Arm, etc.?

Had a look on the software that comes it. As long as you have a keyboard shortcut in BMS assigned to a callback you might map it onto it. The more challenching is see triggering AI commands as these require a combined action of multiple keyboard commands. Anyway for AI commands my preference would always be to use voice commands instead of any input device.

OK, thanks! I am seriously considering the XL version. Pressing a button is so much more convenient than a mouse click and a TrackIR movement. I use voice for AI commands and that is the way to go in my humble opinion.

As long as you have a you have it mapped to something in game, you can use the streamdeck software to create a button with the same binding.
