Unusual Radar behavior: radar scan lines jumping around, and TWS stops sweeping.
-
Starting noticing this behavior post 4.33. Anyone know what this is? Also have been having an issue with TWS stopping its scan. The Azimuth sweep just sticks in the center of the azimuth lines and wont start again unless I go RWS. Dont have footage of that yet but will post it when I do.

you may need to 1st:
make sure your radar cursor joystick has a deadzone that is big enough.
make sure your hardware is very well configured.
It took me literally days to create a 100% full HOTAS, including emergency and bit test switches, has more than 200 commands, I lost count, every button has 6 functions depending on shift.
It still took a lot of work to figure out what was wrong also with the deadzones of some axes.
Watch out for that.
The radar cursor going too far right or left will make your azimuth settings scan a smaller slice of sky, and your radar bar axis may be drifting.

It’s supposed to do that. It is time sharing the radar between your free scan volume and the bugged target.
-
Ah ok. I thought it was supposed to say centered on the bugged target. Was this recently added? I have never seen it before.

Yeah it’s newish. You can watch the az/el markers jump between the bug and the scan zone. If it stayed on the bugged target you’d never get info on other targets.
