Loss of functions of certain keys
-
Hi everybody.
I have a problem with Falcon BMS in multiplayer mode.
I note the loss of function of certain keys (in particular of the control keys of views).
This observation can be made on all PCs connected to the network, and mainly when we are in flight.
Once on the ground, previously inactive functions can become active again.
Any ideas ?
Thanks for your helpOther information :

you have external views disallowed in your multiplayer setting ;0)

I don’t know ! I have to check (I’m new on BMS)

Hi Ironman53rd
I checked but I didn’t see any option to desallow external views or any other fonctions in the TE Builder.
Please can you put me on the way to the solution ?
Many thanks for your help -
Start a multi player session with your TE, then in the window “Rules of Engagement” look on the right hand side and click on “Allow External Views” … the box should go green.
This option is NOT available in TE builder - as far as I know.
Hope this helps.

It’s also an option that you can setup by default in the Configuration Editor IIRC.
Allow External Views under the Multiplayer section?

Hi
To Ironman53rd
I saw the box to be actived in the window “Rules of Engagement”. I’ll check next flight to be sure.
To Vandal
I didn’t see this option in the Configuration Editor, section “Multiplayer”. May be, this option doesn’t exist anymore in my BMS version 4.34.3.
Many thanks for your advice -

Not all config options show up in the editor. To see all available config options you have to open falcon bms.cfg with an text editor. You could also read BMS Technical Manual for those config options not changeable through the editor.
In addition there are config options like the exponentional curve and saturation settings that came with U1 that you have to add manually to your config fileGesendet von meinem SM-G930F mit Tapatalk
