wow First TARGET if I’m not mistaken…
Thanx… A nice starting point… -
Fixed a (for me at least very annoying) error in the key file causing random faults to occur in your plane when you press ESC while having the AWACS radio menu open.
This is also present in the original bms.key file.
The line is question was:
SimRandomError -1 0 0X10 0 0XFFFFFFFF 0 1 “Sim-RandomError”
Where I assume it should have been:
SimRandomError -1 0 0XFFFFFFFF 0 0 0 1 “Sim-RandomError”

Hello Morphine
Congratulations on your profile Hotas.
I have a small problem, the TAC, the arrows used in the MFD to FCR, you move slowly from the sun, selizionato AVINOICS CONTROL Menu from the menu small.
No do not stop the cursor keys on FCR.
What you can advise me to do more than move the sliders.Sincerely,

Hello Mud
Your profile is very good and easy to manage in my opinion. I have only a question: what about Avionics controls and Flight controls in the advanced option for BMS Falcon? Do you have a configuration?
Regards

Hey Danguard,
These are my settings:

- Upcoming version 2.5 will have the USB key codes to prevent the keyboard nationality problems.
- Keyfile was not changed so does not need to be replaced.
- The Info & Diagram will still state version 2.2 (but is in fact 2.4 compliant)
-
Version 2.5 released
Changelog from version 2.4:
//Version 2.5
//Switched to USB HID codes to be compatible with all keyboard layouts- Links updated in my first post.

I have looked at your script file and it is far beyond my understanding. I am slowing getting to understand some of the functions but without a background in C, it is going to be a slow process.
I was wondering if you could write a portion of a script for me on the following:
I use the//EAC
MapKeyIO(&Throttle, EACON, PULSE+L_ALT+‘m’, PULSE+L_SHIFT+‘m’);
MapKeyIO(&Throttle, EACOFF, PULSE+L_ALT+‘m’, PULSE+L_CTL+‘m’);I would like the first LED light to be on when L_SHIFT+'m is operating. That is, when the EAC toggle is forward, I would like the LED 1 light to be on so when I start a mission, I know what position it is in and if the LED 1 light is on, I can toggle it back.
Any help you can offer would be appreciated. -
Sobe,
It’s actually not that hard. I used to do some simple things in Visual Basic, but C is way out of my league
Anyway, you can make that led come on by doing the following to your code there:
MapKeyIO(&Throttle, EACON, CHAIN(PULSE+L_ALT+‘m’, PULSE+L_SHIFT+‘m’, LED(&Throttle, LED_ONOFF, LED_CURRENT+LED1)));
MapKeyIO(&Throttle, EACOFF, CHAIN(PULSE+L_ALT+‘m’, PULSE+L_CTL+‘m’, LED(&Throttle, LED_ONOFF, LED_CURRENT-LED1)));Beware though if you’re using my script. I turn off the entire backlight and turn it on when the autopilot is activated. Sad thing is that the LEDs won’t come on if the entire backlight intensity is set to 0.
So you’d have to change the 0 in the following line to 200 or so. (255 = max)
//Turn Off Throttle Backlight
ActKey(PULSE+KEYON+LED(&Throttle, LED_INTENSITY, 0));I hope that’ll get you forward.

thanks for the addition to the script. However, over the weekend I did this
//EAC
MapKeyIO(&Throttle, EACON, PULSE+L_ALT+‘m’, PULSE+L_SHIFT+‘m’, LED(&Throttle, LED_ONOFF, LED_CURRENT+LED1));MapKeyIO(&Throttle, EACOFF, PULSE+L_ALT+‘m’, PULSE+L_CTL+‘m’, LED(&Throttle, LED_ONOFF, LED_CURRENT-LED1));
and that seems to be the same language that you used. However, when I tried to compile and run it, an error message came up on line 165 or something like that. The editor doesn’t seem to have line numbers so I just assumed it was this addition. I am at work now but will try it again tonight. I am using Morphine’s script, etc. Oops. I just noticed that you added the “chain” command. Will try again tonight. That may have been my mistake.
Thanks for the help and I will let you know if it works.

I tested it here and it works, but I didn’t notice you using MapKeyIO (layered) which I did not. So I’m hoping that won’t cause an issue.
-
NO joy. The LED doesn’t go on and the toggle no longer controls the master arm switch in the game.
//EAC
MapKeyIO(&Throttle, EACON, CHAIN(PULSE+L_ALT+‘m’, PULSE+L_SHIFT+‘m’, LED(&Throttle, LED_ONOFF, LED_CURRENT+LED1)));
MapKeyIO(&Throttle, EACOFF, CHAIN(PULSE+L_ALT+‘m’, PULSE+L_CTL+‘m’, LED(&Throttle, LED_ONOFF, LED_CURRENT-LED1)));The CHAIN command is probably the correct command, but the I/O seems to be screwing up the actual function now. Back to the drawing board. Any help would be appreciated.

It works. I had to move the CHAIN command over to the out function and now the LED lights up when the toggle switch is moved forward and the master arm switch in the game goes up.
//EAC
MapKeyIO(&Throttle, EACON, PULSE+L_ALT+‘m’, CHAIN(PULSE+L_SHIFT+‘m’, LED(&Throttle, LED_ONOFF, LED_CURRENT+LED1)));
MapKeyIO(&Throttle, EACOFF, PULSE+L_ALT+‘m’, CHAIN(PULSE+L_CTL+‘m’, LED(&Throttle, LED_ONOFF, LED_CURRENT-LED1)))Thanks for your help and now on to do 4 more switches.

That’s great, I’m glad to hear you got it sorted!

Hi Mud,
I have a question regarding your TM Warthog profile - I cannot use the POV hat on the stick for moving my view around the cockpit….it “goes crazy” and rolls to the back-left or back-right so I’m looking at the seat. Is this because you’ve changed the POV hat to the aircraft trim in your script? (I looked at your code but cannot identify where you made that change…I can identify the other stuff on the stick in your code. I’d really like to be able to use the POV hat for cockpit viewing, at least at the moment…I’ve bitten the bullet and ordered TIR5 and the TM MFDs, all set to arrive on Tuesday…I’ve tried freetrack/facetracknoir/etc. but they don’t work for me, unfortunately). As of yet, I haven’t been able to even start her up from the ramp, which is frustrating. Any help you can provide would be much appreciated!
Thanks,
Burner59 -
Hey Burner,
The POV is not set in the script, but in my keyfile (1st 4 lines). Changing those to the ones in the original keyfile might solve your problem until you receive your TrackIR.
Just look for the following strings in the original keyfile, and copy the entire lines replacing the one in my keyfile:
AFElevatorTrimUp
AFAileronTrimRight
AFElevatorTrimDown
AFAileronTrimLeftYou won’t regret buying that TrackIR by the way. Just be careful if you have the Trackclip Pro; that plastic boom is very fragile despite its price.
