Lost theaters post Korea 2012
-
Hello, I havent been on here in years. I just got 4.34 running and I installed Isriel theater and everything was going swimmingly until I installed Korea 2012 then I lost Isreal. After that I installed Nordic 2.4 to see if I could get that to show up but it didnt work.
I edited the theater definition per 2012 instructions, Nordic is included in but Isreal is not but neither show up as a choice in game.
Any ideas?

Hej
Start over from the beginning, uninstall. Then reinstall 4.34. Stick to 4.34 until you get warm in your clothes and know what you are doing. Then you can try other theaters after collecting facts on how to go about it. You can not just take a chance and believe that everything will work. This is my proposal based on my own experience. I’m not trying to be rude I’m just speaking plain language. I guarantee that the answers to your questions will be in this forum. The best thing is to know what to do and why.

maybe you just messed up your theater.lst
make sure that all your installed theaters are listed there.
something like
# LIST OF ALL KNOWN THEATERS Terrdata\theaterdefinition\Korea KTO.tdf Add-On Korea TvT\Terrdata\theaterdefinition\Korea_TvT.tdf Add-On Israel\Terrdata\theaterdefinition\Israel.tdf Add-On NTO Polar Vortex\Terrdata\theaterdefinition\PolarVortex.tdf

I’ve been flying Korea for over 20 years now, I think I’m now safe to move to a new theater, but trust me I will give all the documentation and manuals a good read through again before trying to take off… I like taking chances and it usually works well.
I think I will try a fresh install again and maybe skip the 2012 or be much more careful double checking before I do.
