Solved Shortcut windowed/full screen BMS 4.35
-
Hey guys!
Could someone tell me if there is a shortcut to switch in game, from windowed screen to full screen?
I looked all BMS documents and also the forum, but not really found something helpful.
Currently I have the problem, BMS switched to full screen after I quit a flight.
Normally that’s not a big problem, but in my case I use a projector setup for the 3d World and my used correction SW, Fly Elise, must be used in windowed mode. Otherwise, I have an issue with the 3 images I use in surround and the picture could not be shown correctly. Also I use a special SW/HW to implement all switches, buttons and indicators from my homemade Cockpit. I just have that behavior only when this SW is active. That’s why I imagine I programmed accidentally a shortcut which switch from windowed to full screen mode.
Thanks for help and kind regards,
Scarecrow

Maybe [LEFT ALT] and [ENTER] could be the key you are looking for.
This shortcut maximizes/minimizes the game. While [RIGHT ALT] and [ENTER] toggles windowed mode.

Thx for your fast answer!
It looks that solves the problem. Alt + ENTER was set for TWP: Priority Mode Toggle. Also defined by default in the Pitbuilder Keystrokes. My first quick check returns me back to BMS UI in windowed mode.
Thx again!

That should not be … but I think maybe it did used to be a bug/oversight in an earlier release.
Are you running 4.35.3?
Perhaps you built your key file starting from an earlier version of Pitbuilder.key that contained the unfortunate alt+enter binding?
My 4.35.3 pitbuilder key file has alt+enter bound to SimDoNothing with a note that it will toggle fullscreen.
C:\Falcon BMS 4.35\User\Config>type "BMS - Pitbuilder.key" | grep -i "0x1C 4" SimDoNothing -1 0 0x1C 4 0 0 -0 "SIM: Toggle FullScreen"

Oh, I think you are right. I see in the BMS UI that I run BMS 4.35.0 (Build 22548)
That’s the BMS Version where I took the Key file.I think I have to run some upgrades.
Thx for all your assists.

https://www.diffchecker.com/ can help merge / update your keyfile, if you made any changes from the stock Pitbuilder -
