Solved MSL step not switching stations in HARM POS mode
-
I’m not sure if this hasn’t already been reported because it’s a huge thing but I can’t find any reference, neither here or on the bugtracker (perhaps it’s only my issue).
When in HARM POS mode the MSL step will do what the cursor enable does, namely switch to HAS mode instead of selecting the next missile.
This means that it is not possible to handoff two missiles simultaneously, instead one HARM has to be fired before the next can be handed off.I would appreciate if anyone else could confirm that behaviour.

@Batman hmm… forgive me if I’m wrong but I think what may be happening… the avionics “remembers” which mode each station is in.
So eg. you can setup sta3 in POS-EOM mode, and sta7 in HAS mode. Pressing msl-step, with the WPN page visible, will appear as if it’s switching between POS and HAS. well it is, but it’s because it’s switching stations. Make sense? (I think this behavior might be new/different in 4.36 which is maybe why it seems confusing.)
Or maybe you have your key bindings horked.

You’re totally right. What is confusing is that the second missiles defaults to HAS even if you power the whole thing in POS mode. Enforcing POS mode again onthe second missile does the thing. That was confusing ot me.
Thanks. Now how do I set this thread to “solved”…
