Unsolved Crashing after I land
-
For every 5 landings 3 are causing CTDs. This is on the Israel Theater(haven’t tested in any other). Running the 4.37.3(with the hotfix).
Does anyone know what it could be? Thanks in advance.

@drmagnumwolf Do you have a situation (a TE or a save-game file) that repros 100%? Could be helpful.
These bugs in ObjectiveClass::SetParkingPointOccupied() have been around for a couple years … mostly ITO but other theaters too. (Maybe a crowded-airbase condition?) Sounds like getting a good repro, for devs to verify the fix, has been tough.

Hello. I encountered this error. In your own TE with one single aircraft. when starting a mission from the runway. Does not repeat when starting from a taxiway.
-
@drmagnumwolf this crash usually means bad theater data (it’s a forced crash, meaning code reached a point which made no sense, so we force a crash on the spot to avoid a future memory corruption).
But to confirm, please share the DMP. If you don’t have one, please check this post: https://forum.falcon-bms.com/topic/20866/enabling-dump-files-at-all-times-and-creating-frozen-game-dump-files/13. A full DMP and a repro case help a lot.
Thanks

I do have the BMS .dmp files. But not the ones from windows itself(as the link mentions).
Any recommended place for me to upload these?

I did a mission 3 times once, 2 of them crashed and 1 didn’t. But the one I shared here crashed once, before I realized that there might be a problem worth asking. And I checked they all share the same error code. I don’t know how reliable it will be to reproduce it, but I can give the save game. (From the ITO campaign)

People usually rar and upload to cloud services like google drive or similar.
-
@Seifer Should I send it to you by PM or share the logs here?
I uploaded it to onedrive. -
@drmagnumwolf please share here so other coders can take a look as well.
-
Ok! Here are the logs from BMS, hope it helps!

@drmagnumwolf
thanks. All three are the parking spot ctd. It has been reported internally too. We will take a look. -
@drmagnumwolf sorry to be late, does that happen in all airbases or one airbase in ITO specifically?
And only to be sure: You are using the latest ITO version by Vaicon, right?
This is a forced CTD when the AI takes a spot that does not exist (data issue), for example.
If you tell me which airbase is that, we can sort out with Vaicon and fix that. -
@tiag
Thank you!Ramon, but I don’t remember if it was on Hatzerim too. Yes, it is the latest ITO. It all crashed as soon as I slowed down a bit on the runway.
