MFD Extractor issue
-
@Icarus bumped up the version, still wont start. no joy
-
@windnc60 Well if no versions work it must be a Windows thing not right. Its not BMS because it works for me on both my computers.
-
@Icarus agreed …4.36 no different
-
Have your try setting in the config file this: g_bExportRTTTextures to 1? Every time you have a new install/update your config file may change.
-
@igorry yes that is the setting, here a pic i finally got of what is not working, MFDE v0.6.4.0
thats as far as it goes, click on start - doesn’t start
click on options nothing.Trying to extract the gauges. the software does not seem to open, i looked around in case the resolution was affecting it - still no joy!
-
I have seen this before a long time ago, I just cant remember what caused it. It is not a BMS thing. I think it is a Windows thing. I know it needs a certain .NET Framework. Try installing .NET Framework 4.8 which is a requirement for MFDE. Or updating .NET Framework .

It also needs Visual Studio 2022 Community Edition. Also try updating video drivers. also try reinstalling DX 9c.
-
.net and visual studio loaded as suggested. Bingo ! Great call. Gauges extracted as they should.
Resolved.

@windnc60 I had the same problem in my homepit. Now i use RTT for MFD and RWR and “helios” for all the other gauges in my pit. Give it a try!

@CAG He fixed it. MFDE gagues work fine. Agreed RTT is better for MFDs.
