Windows Surface Devices
-
i searched through the forums and other than some small threads from a few years back i haven’t seen much.
Has anyone come across a way to use a Surface Pro (3 or 4) or SurfaceBook running Windows 10 to serve as a touch screen for MFDs and/or ICP?I know about MFDE to another monitor, but for that i would need a way for the Surface device to just function as an additional monitor from my main PC rather than a standalone device.
Any thoughts?

Try running HELIOS which emulates gauges, MFDs and supports touch panels for OSBs, rotaries, switches and push buttons. Make sure you read the manual.

thanks, i hadnt known you could run helios on a second PC and connect to the sim pc over the network, i will have to look into that more since i have used Helios a bit so i’m aware of the basics of it
