Wish photobucket would enable original rez shot links
You can change that, I had the same problem before but i “play” with the configuration and now looks better

Yo Pat, maybe try to post the links in their original reso instead thumbs. See you came back again to radical campaign flying just as in ole FF times.
Your campaign testing schedule as retired officer was quite impressive.

Yeah I will try photbucket and hope BMS don’t mind me posting too many pics. 1900x1200 pics are incredibly beautiful on my rig and I try to catch not just beautiful pics but also action shots for all Falcon lovers. You are a good man Tom and thank you. I forgot about photobucket and just found 2000 pics I had posted in FF and hope posting 1 won’t hurt…

BTW mate, photobucker allows you to create a 2nd album if I am correct.
I have two, as legally within their terms. And one with postimage.org, also cool.
Darn miss FF times.

Cant say as I do: trying to simulate every combat aircraft on the planet…

Amazing.
Do you use Sweet FX? in that case would you share your settings?
S!
It’s all Photoshop and photographic plugins i’m afraid. There’s a few other pictures in this thread that i’ve worked on.
I wish SweetFX did work with BMS, but it doesn’t unfortunately. The one posted on the forums here is configured totally incorrect and doesn’t boot up the game when it’s been fixed and the folders are put in their proper locations so the dx9 dll’s can run the shaders. If the next release of BMS has fully moddable shaders along the lines of SweetFX or IcEnhancer, that’d be the first thing i’d be tweaking to improve the overall lighting in the engine
-
Huh? Sweetfx works already.
-
No it doesn’t Arty. Because the way you’ve configured it here:
also doebro try this which is the only working solution for me, else bms goes to desktop and never enters the ui.
http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y3/thanosc/sweetfxfolders.pngis entirely incorrect. Sweetfx must be installed as it is in it’s original zip file. That being, the sweetfx folder MUST be in the same folder as sweetfx’s DLL files and the game executable, NOT separated in BMS’s data folder. Anyone who runs SweetFX knows this, you don’t separate the Sweetfx folder away from those two things otherwise it wont run the presets nor the shaders in-game. When Sweetfx is installed correctly this way, BMS doesn’t run at all.
You may want to watch this video below, especially around 4.50 onwards. It’s pretty simple and straight forward to install Sweetfx. It’s certainly not the way you are telling others how it works…

Thanks Shadowblade.
Some game engines requiere the injector file installed to a subfolder, usually “bin” or “bin32”) for it to work properly.
This is what is called a “split install”:
Split install
Some games (mostly the ones using the Unreal Engine) needs to have a split install of SweetFX, where some files are put into the bin or bin32 subfolder
The files to put in the subfolder are: d3d9.dll , dxgi.dll and injector.iniI can confirm that this happens for BMS Falcon, and in my system it will run ok, the presets and shaders.
If a system is crashing with Sweet FX, that can happen for a variety of reasons. Like wrong folder; What OS (Wiin8 ?); have the system installed the Microsoft update KB2670848?
