Falcon BMS:Falcon BMS.exe - Entry Point Not Found
-
Hi,
I have been running BMS quite happily for over a week now and then all of a sudden I start getting error messages. An error window titled as per subject of this post containing the text below.
“The procedure entry point Direct3DCreate9Ex could not be located in the dynamic link library C:\WINDOWS\system32\nvspcap.dll”
I have an Nvidia GeForce GT630 card and it’s running driver version 344.11 which, I think, was installed in the last few days. My suspicion is that the new driver or something that the Nvidia installer has done is to blame but I not sure how to proceed.
I could roll-back the driver I suppose. I’ve not done that on a Windows 8.1 system before but assume it can be done. However, I’d much prefer to resolve the problem with the minimum of fuss and if possible keep the latest drivers.
Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks in advance
Taff

Sweet fx and Geforce experience 2.1.2 gives this error.
Do u use sweetFX? And updated GFE recently?Take a look at the last post in sweetfx thread I have a link to download GFE 2.1.1 that causes no such problem.

I press scroll lock key inside the game. But in the game lobby.I press scroll lock.it can change color.why ?
My OS is win 7 64bit.do it suport ? -
BMS and SweetFx apparently still works ok, u just get this annoying message.
-
Yep, it sems that SweetFX and the latest Nvidia drivers are incompatible. Disabled SweetFX and the messages have stopped. Shame though as I liked SweetFX
Thanks guys

No need to disable the sweetfx just instal GFE 2.1.1

Arty,
I think I’ll get rid of GFE and just install the drivers. Do you know which version of the driver is installed by GFE 2.1.1? Alternatively, in your opinion (I see you’ve posted regularly on the Nvidia thread) which version of the driver offers the best compatibility/performance for BMS and SweetFX?
Thanks,
Taff

GFE doesn’t actually come packed with a driver.
So u install whichever u want.
Also the best driver is the one that works and doesn’t create problems.
