Can't get Thrustmaster controllers, Saitek rudder pedals to work
-
Hello, all. I’ve finally successfully got Falcon 4.32 to work. However, to date, I’ve been unable to get my Thrustmaster HOTAS Warthog and Saitek Combat Pro rudder pedals to work. I’ve downloaded Mud’s profile and followed his instructions but no joy. I can upload some screenshots if you wish. I appreciate your help.
Thanks

The Saitek Pedals will not show up on TARGET is that is what you are looking for
In Falcon,
in SETUP –> Controllers.
go to Advance, there you will be able ot assign the Rudder and toe breaks (left and right). just select the proper Axis from the Dropdown (it should show up as saitek rudder and the correct axis name) - please note. toe breake axis need to have “reversed” checked. -
Hi Bill
Did you install the Thrustmaster as per instructions and is it recognized in the Target Software ?From memory Im shore you must install the Software before plugging in the Stick & Throttle
If that’s done correctly I should be a selectable option in the Falcon Setup/Controllers page as “Thrustmaster combined”
when “Target” is running
If “Target” is not running your setup choices are either stick or throttle.Did you get that far ? Your post doesn’t give any useful info

Hey, guys, thanks for your replies. I do have TARGET installed and it does recognize the joystick and throttle. Yes, I see Thrustmaster Combined. In fact, the controllers show indications that they’re working in the Controls screen but that doesn’t translate to the cockpit. No joy there. It’s a moot point at this moment, though. Early on, I had problems getting it to launch. I had it working for a few hours then rebooted and it quit working again.

Check that your Antivirus isn’t interfering with your install, has happened to me and others. Have a look in the Virus Vault.

Thanks to you, I’ve got it working. Thanks, guys.

Care to elaborate on how you fixed it? Maybe helpful to others.

Best I can remember, I loaded Morphine’s Profile–put the key file in the in the config folder and loaded the .tmc file in TARGET Script Editor. However, today I had to re-install Falcon BMS and now the controllers don’t work. What a puzzle.

Sorry but this one is operator error. I have that exact same combo and the ONLY time I have issues is when Windows in it’s infinite stupidity decides to NOT see the rudder pedals on occasion. Then I just have to unplug and re plug the USB in for the pedals then all is well. That happens perhaps 1% of the time for me. The other 99% this combo works just fine.

Okay, the controllers are working again. Stubbies was probably right. I reloaded Morphine’s profile, restarted the sim and, voila’, everything was working. Thanks a lot to all those of you who helped. I appreciate you and this forum.
