3D Cockpit Center with TrakIR
-
when using the 3d cockpit with my track IR the view that the camera is centered to is a little to high for my liking so I flipped throught the BMS-Manual included with the game and found on page 122 what I think I am looking for bud the instruction are vague.
the default view center is like this
But I want this
It states in the manual
“Unlike the Snap (2D) Pit, where we have sticky views only, you can smoothly pan the POV in the pit. Once entering the 3D world this is the default view. It is distinguished between the first key press and the second one (See screenshots below. Note: It’s not a toggle.).”
I dont understand when I press 3 twice I get the same view? but the manual shows two different settings for two different views? I hope I have explained myself clearly if anyone can help.
I don’t want to increase the FOV anymore because everything harder to see I just want the default view panned down a bit like the in the photo.Update: I just tried it without TrackIR on and It worked! like what I wanted but when I turn it on center my view with track IR and press 3 twice nothing happens?

BMS Manual page 112:
9.3.1 Pan Cockpit:
TrackIR
This is the prefered option. If you use a TrackIR the following options do not work. If the TrackIR is
disabled (F9 hotkey) or the TrackIR loses track of your dot/vector clip/track clip pro the following
options can be used…The default view is how it is in the real jet; pilot’s talk of feeling like they’re sitting on the top of a rocket for a reason
If you want a lower position just look up slightly with your head then centre TrackIR.

Thanks for the response, that’s a bummer. As for the sugestion, that is exactly what I have been doing but TrackIR has this default dead zone for the center view which is nice to stop small movements. Maybe I will try disabling the dead zone to smooth it out. Cheers!
