Throttle synchronisation
-
I use Saitek X52 Pro.
Every time I enter a mission/TE in which the plane is already in the air (for instance, landing approach), the plane starts to decelerate from the very beginning, regardless of the actual position of the throttle.Even if I push it to the full AB just before the scenario, the plane starts to decelerate when the scenario starts.
I have to pull it back a bit, then push forward and the plane starts to accelerate. Is it possible to synchonize the throttle (I mean the ‘real’ one and that in the sim) in the settings like in DCS A-10C?

meaby your pot is damage or just dirty

Pot? Don’t think so, have a dishwasher

This is done as purpose, you need to kick the throttle when entering 3D. The reason is because as you know, the design is mostly for start on ground, if the link is done until the commit, the aircraft can accelerate quickly on ground and then, collision can append ;).

Amraam this already happens to me on a regular basis. What I have to do to verify I WON’T jump into the pit in a high speed taxi is after commit to takeoff/taxi I have to cycle my throttle from idle to mil then back to idle. If I don’t I have a good chance of jumping into pit moving fast.

Its down to a driver issue and has been present right through the development of SP3 through to BMS. The throttle does not get picked up until it is moved due to it being one of the few controls directly linked to Directx input. Make sure you have the latest drivers and software available to stop half the issues. Ill add a list below of installs and where to get them from. It doesnt stop the throttle problem but it makes the whole sim more stable and smoother. This program was originally made in the 1990’s and has gone through many and vast changes since.
Additional software to install.
Visual C++ Redistributable 2005 ONLY get this download from Microsfot Download Centre, regardless of installed Windows Version.
Visual C++ Redistributable 2008 SP1 ONLY get this download from Microsfot Download Centre, regardless of installed Windows Version.
Visual C++ Redistributable 2010 SP1 ONLY get this download from Microsfot Download Centre, regardless of installed Windows Version. (This one is mainly due to the driver issues of some HOTAS and Joysticks)The company MAD CATZ have bought Saitek now and new drivers and programming software is available from their site, make sure you get the programmer to match the driver version you have installed, otherwise you will find that you get a program crash each time you run it. This applies to all users with windows Vista and above, XP users check out the archived drivers on the MAD CATZ site.
For the sake of safety please only download files from trusted sites or owners sites due to the amount of idiotic spam coders out there.
