      Good morning,
Was scrounging around on the web trying to increase my sim FPS rates in 4.33 and found an article authored BMS 4.32 Terrain with Tom’s textures. He instructs me to locate the JGSME folder in 4.33. I don’t have that folder in the file. Are these instructions solely for his theatre operation in 4.33?

      Best wishes

      Steve

First…you cant use Toms Terrain from 4.32 in 4.33…You can however use Toms 2015 version for 4.33…http://www.mediafire.com/file/8rtgltyv6u2d4xj/korea.rar

JGSME is a program that installs a MOD folder in your main directory for Add-Ons such as Theaters. You dont need this anyway to install new textures. Just back up your original Korea folder & put it somewhere safe, Then copy & paste Toms Korea in its place, your done.

Im using Win 10 have no FPS problem what so ever. whats your PC specs? That will help other people can help you out!!!

Tass is right, of course, but if you plan on using quite a few mods, then JGSME wouldn’t be a bad idea at all. Its greatest advantage is keeping track of all mods you have applied, and giving you a possibility of switching between, say, a modified cockpit and a stock one with one click.

Computer model is P6-2310 desktop. Monitor adapter cited in the sim graphics is AMD A4 6410D I wonder if simply changing the monitor display adapter back to win 8.1 is the answer.

SKLEGIN : I have also seen posts on the forums about Win 10 security updates messing with some peoples FPS…this could also be the problem?

Also make sure you have disabled win10 game DVR. This was introduced a few months ago in a major update and defaulted to on. Apparently it ties up a lot of resources.

                    Cheers!

Install a discrete GPU, you must have friends with old video cards laying around from upgrades.

A AMD 6850 or equivalent. Or better. Evan a HD5850 ( but they were power hungry by today’s standards.

And that CPU is slow by any standard. Look for a FM1 CPU secondhand. It seem A8 3870K 3.0Ghz is about as far as they go.
