Warthog Throttle not recognised in win 10

Here the last mail received from TM Customer Center:
Thanks for giving us the informations we have required.
Probably the firmware contained into the MAIN PCB card is compromised and requires the substitution of the entire MAIN PCB.
In order to verify the guarantee we need the invoice.I don’t find the invoice, and the 2 years of guarantee expires surely in these days.

A little update, I’ve asked TM to send me a spare Main PCB, let’s see what they’ll answer.
BTW I see that at DCS forum there are a lot of people that reported the same identical issue… I’m very disappointed! -
Got my new warthog yesterday and it would work until I entered the game, then it wouldn’t. I also have Win 10. Figured out that it simply didn’t like my powered USB hub, so plugged into my computer directly and put other stuff on the hub and haven’t had any problems since.

A similar message from them myself on other parts - tell them you don’t have the receipt any longer but the serial number is **** and they will be good to honour your claim.

Thx Malc, already tried with the S/N, but it didn’t help…
It’s a pity that a company like TM didn’t solve the issue since the first issues came out, almost 10 years ago… -
Here is an update, about my dead throttle. looks like firmware, got corrupted, or deleted somehow, TM support have offered to send me a new pcb at a cost of 53.80 Euros, I will pay this. it will hopefully solve the problem. The question is WHY did it happen in the first place. is my pc going to blow the memory on this card.

I solved it with a new Main PCB, at the cost you’ve mentioned. They sent it to me in few days.
From now on I will keep the HOTAS disconnected from pc when not in use. -
Is it easy to fit the pcb, is there any soldering to be done, also did they supply instructions?

No soldering is needed, few screws and some connectors to unplug and plug. An instruction pdf is supplied from TM support, BTW if needed I can send it easily.

Finally got my throttle fixed. Had major problems calibrating it after changing mcb. All works now, at least for the moment
