OPERATION EXCLAVE - Unofficial Campaign
-
to my surprise, RED wins on Day 1 2350… one single Towed artillery unit captures Madrid and wins the war!!
my 2c, both sides could have more GUs, and RED don’t have to capture Madrid to win, just few more obj at lower part of Spain.
Interesting… thanks, ccc1tw!
my one little cent is: why not, instead? This is just what happens when efficient special forces start fighting.
With best regards,

Hiya. I justed wanted to say a huge thank you for your effort and that we are enjoying the Campaign so far.
One small question. When taking the fight south, what is the best method of moving forces across the strait?
-
Hi! Glad you’re enjoying it.
Well, from the experience I’m having with it, as soon as Blue forces go offensive and gain the momentum, they cross the strait on their own and try to occupy all of the Tanger area. Then, after taking back Ceuta, they should move to recapture Melilla, but that’s what I haven’t been able to achieve yet without give direct orders to the ground units.I’m working on completely new campaign files now, based on many more PAK areas that we have now. On the next version, we’ll have 49 PAK areas, which will make the campaigns much more versatile.
In the mean time, continue to kick King Mohammed’s a**. ;)cheers

Like Rabbit said, thanks for creating this campaign - we’re having an absolute blast with this and dogfighting with those gorgeous Moroccan F-16s and F-1s is just awesome!
Would it be worthwhile to consider a future campaign in this absolutely gorgeous theater in which Morocco is being invaded by Algeria with Spain remaining (initially) neutral and for us to fly those gorgeous Moroccan F-16s against Algerian MiGs?

Of course!
Actually, I’m working on an Operation Exclave renewal and also on a 2nd campaign scenario (Operation Sand Wars), in which Morocco invades Algeria :D, so I’m sure we’ll have alot of opportunities to fly the moroccan F-16s in the desert dunes
Cheers!

So, we pushed across the strait and one unit has ignored the enemy and taken Ceuta.
Boom! We won, but we never took Melilla and Algeria has only just entered the war. Thoughts?
-
Ah, I checked the Save0.tri and I think we’ve triggered the alternative win trigger. I understand editing the save0.tri won’t change the existing game, so……
Maybe I can use MC and just add a bunch of baddies in?
-
Hi!
Thank you for the feedback and sorry for the late answer
Yes, you can even erase the lines that define the alternative win from the .tri file and grab a previous savegame and continue with the campaign until you recover Melilla.
Although I find it strange the campaign to be ended so soon (at day 2). IIRC, the alternative win is attrition to moroccan ground forces, and if that was the case, then it means that you’ve really kicked moroccan’s ground forces a**
Thank you for the feedback, since I’m testing the campaign scenarios in 2D only and, most of the times, in 64X speed due to lack of available free time, it’s hard to understand exactly how the units will behave. The best way is, in fact, to play the whole campaign, take notes and fine tune it.
So, all the feedback is very welcomed.
In the meantime, I’m finishing a desert campaign (Operation Sand War) and in a few days I’ll publish it, along with a redesigned Operation Exclave, in which we’ll have new triggers, new balance of forces, many more ground units and some other stuff.
Cheers, keep up the good work
