[Tactical Engagement]: KTO AAR Practise v005

KTO AAR practise for BMS 4.34
Description
Here’s a quick TE that will allow you to practice air to air refuelling while also providing some
juicy targets on the KOTAR range and a few naval targets in MOA32 (container ships) on
the Korean east coast.Package 2073 (“Hawkeye1”, takeoff: 05:35) consists of two F-16s tasked with a rather
flexible interdiction mission in the KOTAR area where you’ll also find some REDFOR
engineer battalions.Package 1628 (“Falcon1”) is scheduled to depart at 05:50 and has a simple “patrol” mission
that will also allow you the opportunity to hit the tankers and practise some formation flying
at the same time. Most squadrons are based at Kimpo, with some airlifts and other flights taking off from and
recovering on the base, so expect quite a busy RAMP! Make sure to map your spotlight
(usually the “s” or shift-”s” key) as it’ll be pretty dark when you enter jet (on the other hand
you’ll be treated to a spectacular sunrise over Korea) .It is rumored that a REDFOR ELINT / AWACS flight (most likely including a HAVCAP escort)
is scheduled for patrol over the northeastern peninsula, but aircraft type remain unclear at
this point. if you feel adventurous you’re cleared to “tickle” the bogeys a bit trying to get a
visual ID.Tanker tracks:
Texaco1 KDC-10 (SW of the KOTAR range)
Copper1 KC-135 (NE of the KOTAR range)All tracks & the KOTAR range itself are outlined using STPT lines and PPTs for easy
reference in your DTC / HSD. Other flights are scheduled to top up at the tankers too so
make sure you don’t skip the queue and follow tanker comms closely! Check the mission’s
“briefing” page for frequencies and A2A TACAN details.Download:
