Game crashing when I click on setup

Game worked fine last night. When I click on setup tab, it crashes to desktop. One forum I read said the game doesn’t like refresh rates higher than 60hz. I have always been on 60hz so that did not change. Also another forum said to delete your pilot logbook and recreate. This did not work either. Any idea would be helpful.

creating a new logbook, leaving the settings in it blank, and going to setup doesnt work?
is falcon running as an admin? did you unplug any hardware since when it worked and now? did you make any settings changes in the setup UI, or edit any text files in your install folder?

The only thing I didn’t try was running Falcon as administrator. Everything else you mentioned was either tried or never messed with. I ended up uninstalling and reinstalling the program and it now works again. I just got into this so I didn’t loose anything (logbook wise) except my joystick setup. I suppose I will start backing it up in case it happens again.
