I must be mising some tiny detail
- maybe I did a little mistake when explaining : The av8b won’t appear at first . You have to declare it fully ; click on the AV8(the “old” one) in Vehicule , then process as described . Once all is done (new ACD defined , and your variant name appearing when scroll down the list etc …) , close FE . Re-open : now , the plane should be on the vehicules list .
And she would appear in game too .
-EDIT : NO ! I made a little mistake !
Just do as described ; The new variant won’t appear in the list . It’s not an issue , because since you did the maneuver , the old plane will boot with your new ACD number, so it will also boot your new fm/afm (consequently , it will load all the editing you made with your fm/afm . It’s an internal replacement). In game you’ll see a “normal” Harrier , but when selected you’ll see it’s your retrofitted version of the plane that is loaded .
Sorry .

process how? now i´m confused, do i need to enter the editor first and change the name of the av8b?

Click on the old AV8 in Vehicule , then just do as described in post 12 . My only mistake was to tell you that the new plane would appear in the vehicule list . It won’t . Then , as told above
the old plane will boot with your new ACD number, so it will also boot your new fm/afm (consequently , it will load all the editing you made with your fm/afm . It’s an internal replacement)
. In game you’ll see a “normal” Harrier , but when selected you’ll see it’s your retrofitted version of the plane that is loaded
Apart that , all is correct so don’t be confused .

doesnt work for me dude but its ok…maybe you should make a youtube tutorial video, I know that Falcon community will apreciatte much that kind of unique tutorial, now im going to focuse on the model editing with lod editor but I have the issue of HDR #4 array overrun, gona have to create a new thread about this, thank you very much!!!

doesnt work for me dude
Don’t give up , it’s nearly ok !!!.
Once again : Only click on the “old” plane you used to make your retrofit ; give her the new ACD number created("CT record button < look right on the screen the ACD line ,click on it and scroll down until you find your new created number and validate) . Close FE . Reopen .
Reclick on the old plane in Vehicule, then “ACD button” : look on the left of the screen under the "combat class "(look for the Aircraft data line) and look for the name of your new variant (scroll down the list and select it ) . Validate . Close FE. Re-open …
If all went well , when you’ll click on the old AV8 , you’ll see she had the new ACD (control it by clicking on CT record and look which ACD number is given to her) and if you click on its ACD button , you’ll see she has now the new name you gave her (look left , Aircraft data line : you should now see AV8 +++ or whatever you wrote for its name ; If you can see thoses 2 info , it means that you succeeded . Done .
Go in-game to check that all is ok and enjoy .
HDR #4 array overrun
It don’t prevent you to edit your LOD . I still have this message but I don’t care anymore , although one explained me how to make it disappear . It’s a matter of Db installation . Nothing that can prevent you to work .

-
problem is that the lod editor doesnt go on when this message shows up…anyway how to fixe this?
-
lod editor doesnt go on when this message shows up
It means that you didn’t install LE correctly or at the right place .
If installed correctly , the message can up show but after that , LE will start . Check the read me of the file and be careful with your install .

where I need to install the lod editor? I tough that lod editor would not support more than 2gb hdr because with 4.33 works well
