I was thinking of creating a theater in my country, Venezuela Theater, since it is currently in conflict with Colombian Paramilitaries and guerrillas …… But there is the possibility of a conflict with NATO, COLOMBIA, BRAZIL or in another theater, also be can GUYANA … I would like to cheer up but first I must know what you think and suggestions to add … since Venezuela has F-16

Very good area of choice. Don’t underestimate the amount of work involved.
And you might want to look at this: https://www.benchmarksims.org/forum/showthread.php?19083-TO-CHILE-AND-SOUTHAMERICA&p=522079&viewfull=1#post522079

          Hhhmmmm….

A nice project this one, dear Alejandro, no doubts on that.
But - apart from having (=making) a specific theater from scratch, and it’s not a simple matter, so I’m with Obi at 300% on this point - what the story you’re proposing would be based on?
Please be aware than NATO couldn’t have any kind of part with it: please see the particulars about the political reasons in their site. 😉
On my little own, just for a start I would be tempted to think something located in the still available Panama theater, it shows more than one only appealing opportunity about (hint, hint).
And then I would see how things may progress.
Please feel always free to PM me about, if you need or like.

With best compliments, anyway you may decide to do will be good.
          And regards.

              Dear Jackal

NATO can still be part of it in support of Guyana against Venezuela on Esequibo border dispute. Venezuela invading Guyana and both Guyana and US responding. Russian will support Venezuela with lots of SAM/AA defense and weaponry. Further NATO was evaluating to let Colombia be an active member for South America region.

Here you go you have material for a nice Caribbean Theater !

I guess you are right. It is not impossible. I always forget that Brazil shares borders with “Europe” in some way.

I have to deeply disagree, sorry.

This scenery also is unrealistic in its consequencies, because all violative of the Treaty’s policies.
Please all of you note that in those recent RL main international engagement events (Iraq, Afghanistan, Lybia), European countries joined on a voluntary base, but NATO wouldn’t positively involved. They couldn’t either they would, to tell the whole truth, it would lack any political agreement about.
And that not by chance, but just for those reasons I alluded to.

I’m not dictating anything to anyone, I want to be most clear on that.
I’m only speaking from a high a realistic point of view, and reality (i.e…, real simulation) had always its needs, so rules to be accomplihed in full consequently.

Feel always free anyone to have fun with anything he should choose for himself what’s more fit to play, almost needless to conclude. Have fun, most of all!

                    With best regards.

                      No worries to disagree

Perhaps just US might be agreeing to back up Guyana against an aggression from neighbor over border dispute

Just finding a good war scenario a Caribbean Theater can be based on

And see, you have just found out an interesting topic to be developed further with a few but wise words only.
Great! We could develop more together, at your will. Please feel free to ask more by PM at any time, if interested.

I guess a good starting point is to recycle the work that was been done in Peru Theater since there are some Venezuela units there

I suggest Colombia and Guyana along with US are allies and Venezuela and Russian are the aggressors

US could operate from ABC Island in front of Venezuelan’s coast line, for example

I think terrain shouldnt be an issue for Devs

Friend Jackal, I am just a junior member and knowledge on this is little I am afraid

I have seen lots of work done by people living in Ven here on jet’s skins etc I am sure they should have more to contribute to this

                                  Dear mate,

some time ago (more than I like to remember actually 😉 😄 ) I was a junior member too. Let time pass and gain more experience.
All that counts is that you began to develop ideas on your own. Keep on doing it, from what I can see they aren’t really too bad honestly.
When you will finish the conceiving tasks, I’ll be here, if you would tell, or even ask, more.
Or start working together at your scenery, already better.

                                  With best regards.
