Question for modeler(s) w/ both FF and BMS experience:

Can anyone tell me why most aircraft and almost all weapons/stores .lods in curr BMS will convert to .dxm but almost none of the racks will? It would seem like a rack is no more complicated a model than a weapon if not less-so and certainly less complex than an a/c, and yet they will not convert via LodEditor.

I suppose Lodeditor .dxm exporter doesn’t like slots…

Okay, and don’t take this as argument, but more of confusion: don’t a/c .lods also have slots?

@Radium: So, it turns-out you’re exactly right; in a tangential sort of way. In order to properly convert the slots have to be added to the end of a subtree. Thank you, I’d have never thought to look closer at how the slots were incorporated into the .lod!
