Solved RTTT export freezing
-
RTTT export issues - I just want to use the BMS feed locally - NOT connected to a server.
I can get the left and right MFD to extract ok BUT after a second they freeze. Before they freeze they do “mirror” the BMS MFD’s
Here is the extract from my ini file that may be the problem - what am I doing wrong?
RTT Client can connect to RTT Server via network, or read the
local BMS RTT directly, w/o the need for running RTT Server.
1 = RTT Client read the local BMS RTT directly
0 = RTT Client will connect to RTT Server
NETWORKED = 0
ONLY IN USE IF “NETWORKED = 0”!
How often should the client poll the RTT are to check for changes?
The higher the value, the more GPU/CPU load you generate.
Note that this value does NOT affect the “smoothness” of the
display animations. The display can not draw more frames than
BMS is currently exporting to RTT (which by default is BMS FPS / 2).
FPS = 30
and from the config file
set g_bExportRTTTextures 1
set g_nRTTExportBatchSize 1Any help would be gratefully recieved.

@Ironman53rd I hadn’t been testing RTT, but I just flew for 5 min and all seemed ok.
I have
set g_nRTTExportBatchSize 2
which I think is the minimum supported … idk what happens if you try set it to ‘1’, but I wouldn’t expect it to freeze.Which “renderer” are you using? Here’s my RTTClient.ini file if you want to compare, eg. if you think you might have horked something in there.

@airtex2019 said in RTTT export freezing:
Which “renderer” are you using?
not sure what you mean by “Which “renderer” are you using?”
I set all my ini setting to match yours and config setting to batch size 2 and it still freezes after 1 or 2 seconds.
Help … please

@Ironman53rd I meant line 12 on the pastebin.
But if you’re using same config then that answers that.
What graphics mode… borderless or fullscreen?
Also what OS is this
-
Borderless and Windows 10.
thankyou for taking the time to try and help me resolve this one.
