BMS Setup issues, Help please!!

I have probably spent 5 hours trying to set this 4.32 up and have had no success. I have recently purchased the Falcon 4.0 and now want to update with 4.32 BMS. I went to downloads section and the confusion starts there. Do I need to update 4.32 with U1-U6 or U7?? Also from there I tried the whole torrent thing and that got really confusing! Can someone please help me get started, I am really excited to play and learn but this whole preliminary setup is very discouraging and frustrating! Thank you in advance!

Recommend using 7zip to unzip the file if that is the situation.

You would install 7zip like any other program. Run the installer you downloaded and follow the prompts to install. After 7zip is installed it should automatically handle files with extension *.rar like the BMS setup. If you right-click on the Falcon BMS 4.32 Setup BASE plus U1-U7.rar file there should be a 7zip folder. I would select the "Extract to “Falcon BMS 4.32 Setup BASE plus U1-U7"” option. That creates a new folder of that name that contains all the files from the rar package.

Ok based on everything you said was accurate and successful. Now what do I do? Btw I’ve watched the suggested movies and it threw me for a loop. I loaded 4.32 differently then the clip so it did not help me much. Thanks

If I may. The best thing you can do is get on Teamspeak3 with someone who is willing to go through the steps of how to install BMS correctly.

Choose Client 32 or 64 based on your computer system. There are many BMS Falcon4 Communities and Squadrons with extremely helpful and knowledgeable pilots that can assist you from basic installation to how to fly and much more.

You run the setup.exe from the \Falcon BMS 4.32 Setup BASE plus U1-U7\ folder (red and black icon). Now you are installing Falcon BMS. Partially through the install it asks for Falcon.exe from the original Falcon 4.0 CD to prove you have the original game. At the end of the install there is a shortcut on your desktop to run Falcon BMS 4.32.
