Is there a way to bind 2 HOTAS for 1 axes?
-
Hi. I wondering is there a way to bind 2 HOTAS for 1 axes?
I want to use throttle hotas for fast cursor movement and hotas on my flystick for more precice movement.
Maybe somehow with software? -
@QuantumDream Not sure if fast & precise movements together is even possible. You get one or the other. Can you give a bit more description as to what you are actually trying to do??

with vJoy / Gremlin virtually anything is possible
but if all you want is an exponential response-curve, BMS can do that, in cfg
set g_nAxisExp_AXIS_CURSOR_X 5 set g_nAxisSat_AXIS_CURSOR_X 1 set g_nAxisExp_AXIS_CURSOR_Y 5 set g_nAxisSat_AXIS_CURSOR_Y 1

Thx, I’ll try.
Actualy I’m thinking to make additional cursor control for gamepad, then my GF can be as second pilot for TGP targeting with tablet via control server
But anyway i have 2 hotas so one of then has almost no use, I bind one as buttons, but i dont know what to bind to them. -

GF as WSO! that would be the coolest thing I’ve seen in a while…

With vjoy / joystic gremlin combo is working for 2 pilot hotseatThere is some issues:
-if windows indetify gamepad as xbox gamepad, there are hardcoded controls for xbox in game, it cannot be changed. Spend a lot of time trying to configure control files, but nothing is worked. Game uses both inputs as default xbox and users bind control for vjoy setup. Fortunatly my gamepad can change modes to be not xbox device.
-There is no deadzone in vjoy itself, and if it says 50% center, but in reality it can be 50,0001% software cannot detect this… I found “false input” when trying to align my hmsd a small invicible movement in game, for this reason my tgp lock doesnt work. I spend alomost a day to find a reason of it. It fixes with setting a small deadzone in game.Also there is some issues with control server, sometimes devices lost connection, or i need to reboot server. But it’s acceptable.

@QuantumDream Too cool.
set g_bUseXInput 0
in cfg, to turn off the XInput gamepad stuff in BMS.We should probably make that default behavior smarter … ie. only enabled-by-default if your only controller is a gamepad.
