Thrustmaster combined should be first in the list.

Thanks, I will try it

Hi Mud,
Thanks for the profile - I have been using it extensively in 4.33, however after updating to 4.33 U1, as per some other comments, it seems to have ceased working.
I have tried:
-Altering Devicesorting.txt with every possible combination
-Reinstalling BMS
-Reinstalling my TM drivers + TARGET
-Everything mentioned here (https://www.benchmarksims.org/forum/showthread.php?8147-Morphine-s-Profile&p=341640&viewfull=1#post341640) – post #445The chances are, I’ve missed something obvious, but I can’t for the life of me figure out what that something is.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey Colai,
Can you say what exactly is the problem? Script fails to run? Buttons not working in BMS? Other?
Br,
Mud

Hi Mud,
The script runs perfectly fine through the target software, but in BMS the DX binds don’t register, however, the buttons that are bound to key-presses (left and right MFDs for example) seem to.

Could you post the contents of your devicesorting.txt here please?

Hi Mud,
Managed to get it working, I’m not sure if it was a conflict, or a corrupt install, but after removing the drivers for my 360 pad, all is working.
Thanks again,

Hi Mud, the buttons for the radio were not included? Another question … of the Warthog LEDs go out, I read that depends from the autopilot, but how do I turn them on?
-
Hey Aspide,
- The radio buttons are mapped to the throttle mic switch.
- The backlight comes on when you activate the autopilot, else they stay off.

Mud,
Thank you a lot for this profile! After two attempts to get Falcon BMS setup, I was finally able to pull it off today. Thanks for creating this profile, and also thanks for your swift replies when folks seem to have trouble. Just looking through most of the comments here I was able to solve any issues that I would’ve otherwise gotten. I am so excited to start learning the F-16 and to get to experience the dynamic campaign.
P.S. Let me know if you have Steam, Mud. I’ll hook you up with a game of your choice up to $10!
-
I appreciate your feedback and offer a lot, Sensei! Thanks.
I firmly believe in the community spirit though, so I’d never accept any kind of payment / reward for this. Your thank you is far than enough for me!
Good luck with learning the F-16, I’m sure you’ll enjoy it.

I am brand new to using TARGET. If I am creating a profile in GUI is TARGET still using the .key file in BMS? If so how do I configure the buttons in the GUI?
-
There are two ways of doing it. (1) set your target GUI to the same keybindings as in the keyfile. ie next waypoint binding x. or (2) set your GUI DX assignments, then go into keyfile and highlight the assignment then press your joystick or throttle button, it will then assign that binding to the button.
-
Thanks, sub101!
So I set BMS to a particular .key file. I then go into the TARGET GUI and instead of assigning a key stroke via the virtual keyboard I assign it the appropriate DX_?

Correct. if you go into the warthog manual on the left hand side of target, it will say what dx number goes with which button. then go to your keyfile highlight the command you wish to assign then press the joystick button. it should then say mapped to button 36 or whatever. I used the full keyfile to start with. if you pm me with an address I can send you my edited keyfile and the fcf file for you to use or just look at to see how I have done it. you can then edit it to your liking,at least it will give you some ideas for your own creation of fcf or script. beware I did have problem mapping the 1st and second trigger detent. 1st detent I used dx second detent I assigned a key.

Mud hello, congratulations for your profile you’ve done a great job!
I wanted to ask how to activate the datalink, I set the command of MFD “Cont” and can not see my wingman in HSD ….Once you’re set to CONT, you have to press DELETE (COMMS IFF OUT) for about 1 second to activate the datalink.

What exactly are you trying to do with the radar? Are you just trying to slew the cursor around? In what radar mode are you? AG? AA?
