      Hi
I am new to Falcon BMS and not I.T minded. Have down loaded BMS and when I press the letter T to talk to the tower on takeoff the box comes up blank (appears to be populated but blank). I have set the correct dial frequency to 15. Can anyone help me with this fault?

Not sure if this will help, but does your resolution in BMS match your native desktop resolution?

The first newbie’s mistake is to click in the commit, before to go to setup and adjust the resolution and other stuff…
I myself did this many time…LOL

Thanks for your advice and I changed the resolution to match and this has brought up the info in the box when I press T for tower. However it still will not work. I noticed that in the DED screen the UHF is 1 when it should be 15 as this is what I set in the Data Transfer Cartridge. When I Click on the RTN and change to 15 the Tower starts talking to me asking what is my problem. However When I press T for tower and no 5 for taxi it just changes the info to steer point press again shows fuel load. Anymore advise on how to sort this ?

Are you doing a Ramp Start?

Are you using your keyboard to press 5 or the Up Front Controls Key pad ?

Edit , yes your using the ICP (Integrated Control Panel) to input “5”, you must use your keyboard.

                Have Fun……Shad

If you can hear the tower then you are on the right frequency. The difficulty in pushing a radio command seems to be with pressing T and 5. “T” seems to be working. 5 doesn’t. You seem to be pressing “ICP-5” which is a common thing for someone to bind to a keyboard if they want to use the keyboard to manipulate the ICP (I do for example). Except I use the numpad due to the similar shape. Which of the two 5s on your keyboard are you using? What does your key file look like?

OHHHH, is he clicking on ICP 5 to try to send the menu entry?
