Yes, but for my theater you have to swap \sim directory. Without different dat files theater is not functional.

cool
thanks for the response. Look forward to the release!

Just a possible upgrade.
I used the S-24 rocket DB entry, it is the only rocket which can be launched as a single weapon. I modified the 3D model of the rocket to use S-5’s. Unused or inaccurate racks can have the 3D models of UB blocks. Rest what are reqiired rack edit in dat file, weapon and HP edits in DB.
After tweaks is possible to launch single rocket, but AI performance is not too good. AI performs only pair launches during one pass, and because of very small damage - which should be set, because in RL a single S-5 is only 11 lb - against soft targets many rockets are required.
The new model exist beside the old one, therefore it can be set as way the DB that this upgrade in only available for players. The “old” unguided rockets still can be used, this is important because of the AI.

The posted video just a demo. Because from players aspect UB block and D-5 rocket has no use likely it should be modeled the US unguided rockets. Only problem that I’m unfamiliar in that specific area. So, my question towards to the community.
Which US unguided rockets should be modeled? How many rockets are we talking about? There are at least two usless racks in DB which can be used. This means I can set two different types of blocks, as you put more rocket on HP as the bigger block will be used.

Launch positions can be adjusted. As you can see as the munition is depleted after a time only from one position comes rockets.

Finished F-4DSK/ESK RoKAF skin from LESCO.

May give it a shot.
Are the installation instructions based on default BMS U4? -
“Install” process is the same for all BMS4 versions.

Different F-4s in one pic.

F-16C Blk.40 pit has been itegrated by spit. Many thanks for doing this favor. The pit was made by PL_Harpoon. Hereby the Block 40 HUD and the US F-4E Phantom II.
Integration of 3D models are literally done, some DB work have to be done before I start tweaking the campaigns. Currently there is only AA-2D which is R-13M, bit AA-2A (R-3S) is missing. With the usual method MiG-21MF and R-3S have to be created. Battalion rosters and modeling values mostly have been set.

Can you make the pilot legs use less specular?
Cheers molny, I so appreciate what you’re doing.
-
I’m not able to change anything because the cockpit is not my work, I’m not even enough skilled for integration.
-
If you know which file it is, and how to import/export in Max, I can do that.

I even do not know how should be imported prepared LODs and skins. Export/import between LOD and 3ds format is far beyond my skills.

More news.
There is a good chance that I will get the thrust characteristics of different MiG-21 versions (PF, MF, bis), which make possibe better modeling of different MiG-21s. In DB the weight and fuel data are also inaccurate concerning on these AC they are also have been fixed. Of course creating a new FM is far beyond me, but at least a fraction of the base of FM can be better.
If thrust curves are not available I see only one option the achieve some difference between different MiG-21s and MiG-23. With keeping the existing thrust curves and using the thrust multiplier accoring the thrust difference on testpad. It is better than nothing… The result that flight performance of MiG-21PF/MF/bis and MiG-23MF/ML won’t be the same (as well as their weapons and sensors).

MiG-23ML/MLD R-35-300 thrust characteristics. On the charts maximal military thrust and full afterburner thrust are shown. (м and пф lines) The soild line shows the required thrust for level flight on a certain alt and speed.
Comparison RL data with BMS4 data.
The difference is clearly visible. I will test the changes, the quality of the interpolation between alt iso lines. In the reference diagram less altitude iso lines are available (thrust data) than in BMS4 thrust data.
-
Do you know how to use different interpolation strategies Molny? Maybe polynomial, quadratic or even good ol’ catmull-rom?
-
If the interpolation method of Falcon is good, I do not have to do interpolate myself additional iso lines.

Thrust and fuel consumption of different MiG-21s and MiG-23s have been set. I found some usable ships in ccc’s LOD pack. Kynda, Krivak and Slava. Their AD is functional.
Perry Class
Ulsan
They are not as highpoly as Tom’s models but better then models in core DB.
