It sounds like you used the MediaFire bulk download which puts all files in a directory into a single zip for download. Open the downloaded zip and extract the three file to your desktop. Double-click the .001 file and extract as Molni explained.

I do not understand what is so hard. After the extaction in Test-release-fixed-v3 directory you will find the directories what I listed.

I have three files but there is no way to open them.

You can unzip them with 7zip software.

Hi, firstly, thank you Molni for this great mod. I have a small issue however, using the BLK 40 Viper. I am finding that the top of the HUD screen obscures the upper half of the display, and cant adjust my eyepoint lower. I had to go dogfight mode on a mission earlier and could not see the top of the gun funnel or the bandit ….
Is there any way around this? Its the first time I have used the BLK 40 HUD

Are you saying that gun aiming is impossible with Blk. 40/42 pit? I can only integrate LODs but I cannot fix them. Maybe contributors can help.

its pretty damn tricky… i was wondering if it was just me, or if its always been like this with this hud mod. I never used it before, so i dont know…

You are right the gun aiming point is literally on the frame of HUD. I cannot fix it, only the creator or other talented dev.

Question towards to community. Currently there are in DB Su-30M and MKK. MKK is used by PRC but it is the fighter of '2000s. MKK is the descendant of MK family. I plan to model the Su-30M which never entered into service anyone. It has some PGM but its radar and AA capability is similar to '80s of Su-27. The Su-30MK will be true multirole variant of Su-30 family with better radar, PGMs and R-77.
Is this accepable for you?

I had a little time to work on the MOD.
I created MiG-29S and SM using existing MiG-29 DB entries. They have a bit stronger radar as MiG-29A variant. MiG-29S can carry R-77 and dumb bombs, it is similar to older F-16s except the ARH capability. MiG-29SM is the ture multirole Fulcrum vairant, it has PGMs and similar AA weapons as S variant. It will fly strike, CAS, SEAD and AA missions in campaigns. Both version can be used in the '90s fictional NATO vs. USSR campaign. In this fictional campaign I will plan to use Super Hornet to create a more colorful campaign, and other Russian figthers - Su-30M and MK - which never manufactured.
Regardles of the ARH seek bug - which from my aspect make pointless the ARH age - I will make the '90s theater. Hopefully the ARH bug will be fixed sooner or later.
I also will try to integrate this upgrade into the MOD.

According to data from Russian guys the R-73 RMD-1 and RMD-2 will be modeled. They will have different HOBS capability - 45 and 60 degress - slightly different seeker range and flare resitance. The RMD-2 will be available on Su-30M,MK and MiG-29S, SM.

Hi Molny, I installed the Korea 80 on a vanilla update6 and noticed a couple of errors in Tactical Reference. Under AIRCRAFT/FIGHTERS, Mig21 Bis “Fishbed N” actually shows the new Mig23 ML while the SU-35 “Flanker E” shows a Mig21. I don’t know if theese are real errors or maybe some mistake I made while installing. I backed up the folders Data/Art and Data/Sim and renamed them, then I’ve merged the ones extracted from the 7zip files with the older ones, wich contain a lot more files, so It seemed logical to me to merge folders…is it right?
P.S.: Wich campaign is the most stable of the three at the moment?

These are not errors. I used the DB entires of the mentioned AC to simulate other AC, but I cannot edit tactical reference (TR) In tactical engagement unit list the names are correct - as were shown in preview screenshots - but in TR list you can see the very old text and other stuff of original AC. Actually if you can see this it means the MOD works as has to do and new models and DB changes are CTD free.
You can experience this issue for many DB entries. The DB is filled with lots of garbage. Yes, garbage. F-100, F-106, 6-7 different kind of 500 kg RBK bomb, three different type of AIM-4, many unused vehicles, weapons and AC provide the easiest way to model some really important subvariant of a type.
IMHO the tactical reference is 100% unimportant in the age of Internet. You can find much more information with Goggle.

A small note.
In RL R-77 and R-27 variants are dropped from some HP on some AC, but requires so much work model for every missiles the good drop/rail method that I do not spend to make them even many unused weapon DB entires are available for the goal. If somebody strongly requested I made it later but not now. Most of players never fly with red AC, launch is never visible, therefore only video makers can feel the benefit of these tweaks.

The MOD has been integrated. I checked all new 3D models, is CTD free the stuff.

A minor but for me such an upgrade wich I desired since years, F-111F with ALQ-131 under fuselage. Upgrade is supported by 611-Eagle. He created the HP I set the position and direction of the HP.
I had to remove this upgrade because ATO was not able to hande it and screwed the Vark in campaigns.

Hi Molny, I have a problem with some ground vehicles textures: I tried a tactical engagement to check if in 3D world they’re displayed correctly but it’s exactly the same as Tactical Reference.
Same thing with the towed artillery pieces. Kraz truck, Patriot, SA10 radar and launching vechicles instead are ok. I’d like to know if it’s just me or others are experiencing the same issue.
