After messing around all day, I still cannot get the gun to work in the sim using the trigger on my joystick. I tried selecting it in the inventory list on the MFD. I have also tried to use it in Dogfight mode to no avail. The setting in the controls menu has my trigger set to “first trigger detent.” I also read the manual and it got me nowhere.

      Thanks for any help.

“First trigger detent” does not fire the gun.
it is used to manually fire the laser. find the “second trigger detent” call back and program your trigger to that (assuming of course you have a single stage trigger on your stick)

Thanks Uri_Ba! That worked, and now the guns fire.
