Terrain issue?

Hello guys, lng time? have been busy with type rating.
I just flew a CAS mission in a TE, and the weather has been set with Weather Commander.
I placed a T-65 unit to the southeastern part of south korea and i wanted to train myself using the TGP to search for moving targets.
After searching the area of movement i had no luck visually, so i tried with the radar in GMT mode. I got some returns, so i locked one up, and looked at my TGP, noting to see on the TGP.
I ordered my wingman to attack my target, and he did,he dropped his bombs but no visual explosion was to see, I started to beleive that i was doing something really wrong, but then something suddently appeared on my TGP, it was indeed the tank …and it was going in and out of the terrain.
It appears that in mountainious area the vehicles are just driving under the hills and desapear to the human player, while the onbaord sensors can still track them. I wasn’t able to visually track the tanks for more than 5s with the TGP, and then it would desapear again, but my TGP would still stay in Point Track.
I dropped “blind” 4 times, and i hit my targets, as the debriefing screen was attesting.
My BMS 4.33 version is a clean install, no mods, no skins installed. The terrain was set to Summer and weather as said above was set with weather commander. I flew a Block 40 CM F-16, i was using GBU-54’s.
Anyone else with the same kind of issue ?
