DX Controler Id Issue
-
I’m having an issue that I can’t seem to resolve. Within dxdiag, I can see that TM Joystick is assigned id = 0, the TM throttle is id = 1, and my pedals are id=2. When I run a Target profile, I see the Thrustmaster Combined has id=0. This seems to be what should be happening in terms of controller ids.
The axes all work correctly, but the DX buttons are not. For example, when I press the TMS Up on the stick on the Config/Controller page, its lighting up the DX Button 7, but its being interpreted as an OSB press (DX button 39 I believe) under the key commands section. So it looks like its being interpreted as a different controller sending that press. I’ve tried using the Full BMS key file but its the same issue. Everything looks fine in terms of controller ids and from the Target Device Analyzer.
I’ve tried using Morphine’s profile (with the latest updates from that thread), but its always the same - the Joystick DX buttons seem to be interpreted as OSB buttons, and the Throttle DX buttons are interpreted as what I would expect for the Joystick DX buttons. This seems to the controller id issue, but the indications I see are that it is configured correctly via dxdiag.
Any thoughts? I can’t seem to get around this one. Thanks in advance.

Thanks - I’ll take a look.

Yeah - that’s what it was. The combined was the second controlller even though it did not appear to be via dxdiag. I got it sorted out by copying the profile and remapping the DX keys for when the controller is not the primary one. Thanks!
