AMD Driver constant crashing
-
So I have been getting this issue since the original 4.33, and still with U1. I have tried 5 alternate AMD drivers, same issue. I have a 295x2, and I have tried disabling crossfire already as well.
Randomly, or at least with no noticeable consistency, the game causes the gpu driver to stop working. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. I know when it has occurred because the loading bar will only get 1 notch in if the driver has died. 2 notches or more means success. If it does die, the screen goes black after a while, and the my monitor shuts off from no input. During this time I cannot alt tab or enter the task manager. I have to hard restart every single time.
Anyone have any ideas?

i’m assuming you tried non crimson drivers…
how about this. what did you recently do just before this started happening. also i had something sort of similar happen to me in win10 using latest crimson drivers, now i’m running ancient amd drivers (like 2012 era) on windows 7.
also system? or at least windows version, and the driver versions you’ve tried so far (and make sure you double check that the uninstall of drivers went through, because i can make my pc use crimson drivers with catalyst control center by doing the uninstall incorrectly

turned out it was the bms default desire to run triple buffering. Problem is now solved by turning that off.
Also, if you are having issues with crimson, reinstall your windows 10. This is actually a common issue, that the first time you install 10 over 7 it decays. I did a reinstall and it solved tons and tons of issues.

Hi, I have encountered the same problem, with the NVIDIA 840M, 970M display card, WIN10 system. I can only use integrated card to play BMS, always crash with NVIDIA cards, could you write more detailed information about it, thank you very much!
