Another Befuddlement

I am still working on my Hotas input configurations. I am momentarily stopped awaiting return of my Pro Throttle from CH as it was malfunctioning. Anyway, when on the advanced page there is a place to input a function for Right Toe Brake. Why in the world would I want to input a device for the Right Toe Brake only?
Is there a “12 step program” for frustrated Hotas in-putters like myself?

Brake = Left Toe Brake when you chose Right toe Brake for your differential right brakes.
